How did you get into the industry?

I got into the industry after a conversation with a good friend that works in the healthcare industry. She was venting that no matter where she worked, there was a shortage of nursing assistants. That conversation with her led me to research what contributed to the shortage of direct care workers and if there was opportunity to respond to the demand for nursing assistants and direct care workers.
