How did you get into the industry?

I was in business with needs for on-demand shipping. I associated often with businesses often needing things shipped quickly. This is how the idea for GO4ER began.

GO4ER allows new and existing couriers to increase their capacity with drivers, staff, and equipment. People can go anywhere and still work, still have their business thriving, no matter their geographical location. As long as they have the internet, they can function. If there isn’t a courier company around and all that there is just one GO4ER driver, all of the sudden they can take a market.

Where do you See Opportunities or Challenges for the Franchise/Business Moving Forward?

Opportunities for the franchise:  The advantage is that franchisees will have more availability to accept more jobs that they otherwise couldn’t accept. Drivers are available to suit time and costs.

I think that the business challenge will be to teach an old dog new tricks, so to speak. We need to get people ready to utilize our gig economy services. They aren’t doing things because they don’t think they can and they are using the old, inefficient way of doing things. We need to jump the hurdle of new technology. This is simple to use and do and as we scale, it will get more convenient.

What are your unique points of training and support?

Because of the product, it really is remote training and learning 100% of the way. Everything we do is virtual. When requested and when needed, we will take people into the area and bring them here and help them with any additional training they need, however it is so simple, we don’t think there will be a need. The drivers and the dispatchers will need training, but this is a business that lends itself to 100% virtual learning.

Your most difficult moment as the Franchise Business?

I think it’s product awareness, ability, and service awareness. We just want to spread knowledge and message.

What does Your Franchisee Do in the Business Every Day?

A franchisor is a salesperson. The tools are there for it to run on its own, it’s really just getting people to use it.

Who is the Ideal Franchise Candidate?

Sales-driven, good with people, relational and outgoing. This is a people person who can share GO4ER.

Success Stories?

“We were using some of the larger parcel companies for our local shipping, we were paying a ton and items were arriving damaged.  Go4er allows us to get our items picked up on-demand, delivered directly to our customer the same day, and we are also saving money.”

 -Jody, Local Small Business Owner

What Goals Do You Have for the Brand in the Future?

I started this because it was tough to get things shipped. This helps individuals and companies to work more efficiently and to save money. Drivers can work when they want to and they determine the price, whether they are existing couriers or individual drivers. Everyone determines their own price.

This is extremely helpful for other businesses. When they sell something and need to have delivered, they don’t have to shut their doors. It helps everyone. GO4ER saves time and money. We want this to be all over the world!
