How did you get into the industry Ryan?

I was working on a different startup/project and needed a side hustle to keep the project moving forward. Scooping dog poop came to mind. After some research into the pooper scooper industry, I exited the partnership of the startup and moved forward with the pooper scooper business idea.

What’s New in the Business or in the Franchise Model for Bombs Away?

The industry is really starting to take shape and gain awareness. Five years ago, there wasn’t even a category listed for this industry. Now it’s becoming more commonplace as more people learn about and see the value of the services we provide. Additionally, new software has been developed specifically for our industry in regard to how we run our daily operations. We used to have to toggle between three or four applications. Now we have everything we need in just one software application.

Where do you See Opportunities or Challenges for the Franchise/Business Moving Forward?

I see a lot of opportunity for exponential growth in this industry as well as the ability for others to become successful business owners. The challenge moving forward is pushing more awareness to this industry and driving home the value of our services.

My main goal is to build Bombs Away! into a national brand and give others who have the desire to start and run a business an opportunity to get into a relatively young and unheard-of industry a chance to build and grow a thriving business.

What Goals Do You Have for the Franchise Model in the Future?

I’d like to develop and introduce industry-specific products into the marketplace. There are tools most of us use currently that work well (with a little modification) but there’s quite a bit of room for improvement along with the creation of a product sales opportunity.
