How did you get into the roofing services industry?

Left labour-intensive lawn care business with a database of customers. I saw a need in the roofing industry and decided to start helping people in the roofing market and have been in the business now for over 18 years

What’s New in the Business or in the Franchise Model?

The Roof Eraser model includes a proprietary cleaning chemical guaranteed to remove stains for a minimum of 3 years.  We really fill a unique void in the roofing services industry and offer incredible value to a homeowner.  This product can help people save a lot of money and protect their investment.

Where do you See Opportunities or Challenges for the Franchise/Business Moving Forward?

Protected territories include approximately fifty thousand serviceable homes.  We have a solid franchise lead generation program which creates exposure, generates customer leads and develops a solid pipeline for new business quickly and efficiently.  Our brand, marketing and messaging is geared toward educating homeowners and customers, most people just don’t realize that this is even an option.

What is your Goal for the Business Moving Forward?

We want to change the roofing services market, with our technology and product line, we believe we can do that.  We want franchisees to have thriving businesses within the Roof Eraser franchise network and together, build a brand that defines the market.

What Goals Do You Have for the Franchise Model in the Future?

We want to grow consistently, but also responsibly, our focus is to scale the brand, capture market share and have everyone involved in the Roof Eraser franchise system be happy, see a great return on investment and be happy being part of the brand.  From a numbers standpoint, we are targeting 50 franchisees by years 4-5 from our franchise launch.

From a market standpoint, we are planning to invest heavily in public education to make homeowners more aware of the issues and costs of roof staining
