How did you get into the industry?

As a serial entrepreneur, I’ve been a part of several award-winning concepts throughout the years. I attended GA Tech for computer science yet didn’t find a passion for programming so I started bartending to pay the bills and loved exceeding guests’ expectations. I actually became ranked 7th in the World as a Flair Bartender in the 90s. In 2002, I co-founded an award-winning place called East Andrew’s Cafe and Bar. Since then, I have co-founded over ten establishments/brands, all of which have been successful.

What’s New in the Business or in the Franchise Model?

Our detail-oriented approach is a major differentiator for us; this is a full proof prohibition experience. Visitors must dial a secret code on the keys of a fully restored London red phone booth entryway. Craft cocktails, Neapolitan pizza, high end bourbons, Japanese whiskey and several details add to our 1920s ambiance. We have tons of breathtaking visuals like our walk-in cigar humidor, honey onyx bar, and exotic speakeasy theme. Everything we do and sell is first-class.

Where do you See Opportunities or Challenges for the Franchise/Business Moving Forward?

Within the current circumstances surrounding the unprecedented COVID-19, we had to make several adjustments and this has been both an opportunity and a challenge. High standards of cleanliness were already on our radar but we’ve shifted into high gear. For example, our new Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization system purifies our air by eliminating airborne particulates, odors and pathogens and also attacks viruses, mold spores and bacteria. This revolutionary air filtration technology is currently used in many hospitals like Boston Children’s Hospital, the Mayo Clinic and Houston Memorial Hospital Baylor UMC, as well as, major universities like Clemson University and Harvard University and government facilities – including The White House. Additionally, a hospital-grade, EPA-registered disinfectant nanotechnology called MonoFoil is now being used in our establishment, which continues to disinfect the surface for up to 90 days.

What is your Goal for the Business Moving Forward?

We’ve been featured in several publications, including Cigar Aficionado, Cigar Snob, and Whisky Advocate, as well as received several awards such as Best Cocktails and Best Bartender in Atlanta. Our goal is to continue to be top-tier and continually be recognized for this incredible concept and this exceptionally unique ambiance we’ve designed.
