How did you get into the fitness industry?

I was a child when my dad enrolled me in Martial Arts due to bullying. After I got my Black Belt, I opened a martial arts location which led me to helping people get healthy while grow and expand my business.  Martial Arts empowered me and made me a better, stronger and more confident person, I attribute so much of my success in business and in life to martial arts and now I’d like to be able to share that experience with others who are considering entrepreneurship and looking for a path forward in their life.

What’s New in the Lyfe Boxing Business or in the Lyfe Boxing Franchise Model?

We have a proven model with great, residual, consistent high margin cash flow which we have proven in our company locations.  The franchise model essentially packaged what worked for us and we built the systems around it to be able to teach, train and duplicate what we’ve built for a new franchise owner.

Where do you See Opportunities or Challenges for the Franchise/Business Moving Forward?

We see great Opportunities in the fitness market, people want to live, feel and be healthier and fitness is going through a great growth curve.  With the growing consumer market, we see great opportunity to scale the model into new markets with the Lyfe Boxing Franchise model.   The challenge will be to recreate the experience, quality and customer experience in each location and make sure that Lyfe is positioned to be the premium service provider in the market with each new franchise owner and in each new market we grow into.

What is your Goal for the Business Moving Forward?

The Goal for Lyfe Boxing is to expand the brand and help people live better lives, be healthier, be empowered and in the process, make an outstanding profit for our Franchise Owners and create win-win relationships with the franchise partners we grow with.  Together, we feel we can redefine the fitness market with the Lyfe brand.

Talk to us About Training and Support, How Do You Deliver?

The Lyfe Boxing Franchise system has a corporate training model, onsite franchise training and support with every aspect of opening, building and developing a location.  It isn’t just at the opening of a franchise, we will have weekly meetings to go over plans and strategize to maximize profits and a strong ongoing relationship with everyone involved in the Lyfe Boxing brand and franchise network.

Your most difficult moment at the Franchise Business?

My most difficult moment is to select the right manager for the business and in how to create a culture of employees and staff that see the vision and are engaged in the brand with the passion, enthusiasm and fire that we want for Lyfe.

Define your Franchise Model:

A. Training and Support Model?  The Lyfe Boxing Franchise Model has a two week training model at corporate in the company owned locations and a one week training model at the franchisees location.  Ongoing is managed with Weekly Meetings, Daily Chat and Call Support, we are fully engaged in the operation of the day to day business and have covered all of the key elements of the business management from marketing to operations.

B. Territory Definition?  We have big territories, offering franchisees plenty of room to build each franchise as large and big as they would like to.  The territory is based on population counts and income levels, but generally is based on at least a 10 mile radius.

C. Day in the life of a Franchisee?  This is a service and experience business, our day is consumed with engagement, fun fitness, energy and a incredibly fulfilling interaction with the client.  You need to bring it every day, but if you have the personality and interest, there is no business that is more fun than what we do with Lyfe Boxing.

Who is the Ideal Franchise Candidate?

The ideal candidate for a Lyfe Boxing franchise owner is a person with has passion for fitness and the enthusiasm, communication skills and excitement for helping people live better lives.  The franchise will provide the support, infrastructure, tools and support to execute the business side of the operation.

What Goals Do You Have for the Franchise Model in the Future?

We want to dominate the boutique fitness space with the Lyfe Boxing franchise system.  We are seeing 1,000 locations of the model across the United States and Canada.  We want franchisees to look back on their decision to join us as one of the best, life changing decisions they have ever made and that we are a partner in not only their business, but also in their life and have helped them achieve their goals and aspirations.
