How did you get into the food service industry?

I started when I was 22 years old. Working with multiple Franchises Over the years, playing every role from operations, to management, marketing, brand awareness and opportunities to scale.  It’s been a long road with a lot of hours and many different restaurants and businesses, but we feel that with Build My Burgers, we have the perfect system and the right model to scale and duplicate the business model.

What’s New in the Business or in the Build My Burgers Franchise Model?

Technology has definitely changed for better making things easier than before which helps streamline the process. Franchising has also become easier with finding the right partner in order to scale your brand.  We have an App in place that allows for customers to register and get deals, coupons and offers and the adoption rate has been incredible so far, it is just one more thing we can offer new franchise partners that will help them get up and running quickly, efficiently and effectively.

Where do you See Opportunities or Challenges for the Franchise/Business Moving Forward?

Your most difficult moment at the Franchise Business?

There are a few difficult moments in the business. We started our business before covid in 2019 and we were suppose to open April 2020. We ended up opening in January 2021. The challenges to stay afloat on our bills while being closed. Not having another income source, maxing our all the credit cards and not been able to get the funding needed from banks was very challenging. Also it was difficult to open the store as the country was opening and we had issues with distribution inflation labor everything had gone up. Besides all the challenges we were able to survive and thrive.
